Simple Past digunakan untuk menceritakan kegiatan pada masa lampau
- Kalimat Nominal (Tidak menggunakan Kata Kerja)
- Tobe yang digunakan "was" dan "were"
- Cara mudah untuk menghafalkan

- Atau dengan cara (kalau sekarang menggunakan "am" dan "is" maka lampaunya gunakan "was", kalau sekarang menggunakan "are" maka lampaunya gunakan "were"

- I was sad last night. Now I am happy. ( Saya sedih tadi malam. Sekarang saya bahagia)
- You were there yesterday. Today You are here. (Kamu disana kemarin. Hari ini kamu disini.
